My Career Profile gives you a snapshot of who you are today, what jobs you can do now and what jobs you can aim for in the future. You will be able to apply for live job vacancies advertised across a number of Irish recruitment websites, for the type of jobs that are currently best suited to you.

You will also see what jobs you could be more ideally suited to do in the future with some additional training or up skilling and get practical advice on how to do this. All for the special introductory price of €85

What is My Career Profile?

My Career Profile gives you a set of unique tools designed to help you plot the best course for your career. It has been developed by a combination of leading recruitment and careers professionals in Ireland – Saongroup.com who have over 10 years experience running the two biggest recruitment websites in the country ( IrishJobs.ie and Jobs.ie ) and Cut-e – a world leader in the design and implementation of online psychometric and competency based assessment systems.

What does it do?

What is involved?

Once you’ve registered you will be issued with your own username and password which allows you to securely store all of your biographical information. When you have your biographical information entered, you have the opportunity to take practice a number of ability assessments and interest questionnaires. These assessments and questionnaires are commonly used by employers for employee development and to assist them in choosing the best staff. You can practice these assessments over and over again in order to improve and increase your scores (indicated by stars) and all results remain confidential. Once you have subscribed and completed all aspects of your profile your report will be unlocked. This contains detailed feedback on your assessment performance, preferred working and learning style and highlights your strength areas and areas for development. It also contains a listing of the top 20 jobs you are currently most suited to and links to the live vacancies for these jobs. You will also receive a list of your top 20 ideal jobs which you would be ideally suited to but may need to gain relevant experience or do further training to achieve.

How long will it take?

My Career Profile uses biographical information, ability tests and personality measures to fully assess your potential and suitability for a vast range of employment and training roles. In order to facilitate this you can continually log on and off of the system for the duration of your subscription. This allows you to gradually build up an accurate and in depth profile which matches you with the most current and suitable jobs and training options across Ireland. The system has been designed to easily facilitate entry of core information through the use of convenient drop down menus and other information selection methods. This allows for an in depth and accurate profile to be established in under two hours.

Can I do it anytime?

When you sign up for My Career Profile you will be issued with your own unique username and password. This allows you to store your details with your own profile. This way you can modify your profile as you gain experience or complete training or qualifications. This process allows you to easily and securely store, retrieve and modify your own customized profile and continue to accurately match yourself with current employment opportunities or suitable courses or training.
